The ERTC Biofuels+ conference will focus specifically on the refining industry and how it will utilise biofuels in diesel and gasoline. The programme will include factors affecting the future of alternative energy sources, including biofuels, logistics systems, management, supply chain, blending, quality control, fuel standards and specifications.

The conference will look at the transition of biofuels from first generation to second and third generation biofuels and the

multi-faceted impacts on refinery processes, operations, storage, blending and distribution of both diesel and gasoline containing biofuels. The implementation of biofuels and it’s associated risks will be evaluated from the perspective of both refiners and engine manufacturers.

The ERTC Biofuels+ Conference is a ‘hands-on’ event concentrating on the important strategic and practical issues which refiners are facing as a result of legislation and public pressure to develop a more sustainable approach to the production of fuels.
