About the Presenters
Jane Goodacre is a consultant providing services targeting performance improvement in the fields of Operational Reliability. She provides practical processes and implementation strategies as well as a capability to benchmark business performances, identifying the gaps, and provides to straightforward processes bridge the gap.
She was a visiting lecturer on the Asset Management M.Sc. Course at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Jane graduated from the University of Sheffield with a joint Mathematics and Physics degree. She worked with metals and Glass before joining Shell where she was the Reliability Facilitator for Shell Stanlow from 1988 onwards. She has worked as a consultant with PDVSA, Conoco UK, UPM-Kymene Shotton and BAE Systems Marine as well as Talisman off shore in Malaysia.
Guest Speaker – A Professional Engineer with over 20 years of PetroChem experience with a career that includes Project Management, Engineering and Maintenance , Plant Operations and Integrity and Reliability Management.
As a Project Manager responsible for leading large multidiscipline project teams to build complete processing units and major upgrades to existing units. As Engineering Manager responsible for providing Engineering and Maintenance support to over 60 large processing units.
As Integrity and Reliability Manager responsible for the inspection function
for a facility including an RBI based inspection program, a site wide Corrosion
Under Insulation program and responsible for driving a site wide improvement in
plant reliability A Chartered Mechanical Engineer – CEng MIMeche and has
practised in
successful implementation of RCA, RCM, FMEA, Reliability modeling techniques in
the process industry.
